john@johnvdoan.comOn the Invoices tab, tap the + button and choose Money Out (a bill you pay) or Money In (an invoice or payment you receive). Enter the amount, who it's with, a category, and how it was paid, then save.
Set the payment method to Check and a field appears for the check number. Choose Online (or any method) and you can paste the payment or receipt URL, which becomes a tappable link on the record. You can also add a reference or invoice number.
Each record is Pending, Partially Paid, or Paid. If something is unpaid past its due date it's shown as Overdue. Use "Mark as paid" on a record to settle it.
Yes. Set a record to repeat weekly, every two weeks, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. When you mark it paid, the next occurrence is created for you with the dates moved forward.
Turn on "Due date reminders" in Settings and the app will ask for notification permission, then schedule local reminders before your unpaid records are due. The reminders are created and delivered entirely on your device — nothing is sent anywhere.
Yes. When adding or editing a record, attach a photo (a receipt or a picture of the check) or a file such as a PDF invoice. Attachments are stored with the record and sync along with it.
The Dashboard shows what you owe, what's owed to you, your net position, and charts of the last six months and spending by category. Flag a record as tax-deductible and the Dashboard shows your year-to-date deductible total.
Yes — Settings has a CSV export you can share with your accountant or open in a spreadsheet.
Yes. Turn on Face ID / Touch ID in Settings to require authentication each time the app opens.
Yes. Tabwise syncs through your own private iCloud, so a bill you log on your iPhone shows up on your iPad and Mac — and the other way around. There's nothing to set up and no account to create; it uses the iCloud you're already signed into. Make sure every device is signed in with the same Apple Account and has iCloud turned on for Tabwise (Settings → your name → iCloud).
First, confirm all devices use the same Apple Account and that iCloud is enabled for Tabwise on each one. Then make sure the devices are online — changes made offline sync automatically the next time you're connected. Give it a moment; iCloud can take a little while after a fresh install.
Yes — you can add and edit records with no connection; your changes sync through iCloud the next time you're online. And no: no accounts with us, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no servers of our own. The only data is what you enter, kept on your device and in your private iCloud — visible only to you.
