Tabwise: Bills & Invoices

Tabwise: Bills & Invoices helps you keep track of your own bills, invoices, and payments, on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It is built to collect nothing about you — no account, no tracking, no ads, no analytics, and no servers of our own. Your records sync only through your own private iCloud.

Summary in one line: Everything you enter — your records, amounts, notes, and any attachments — stays in your own private iCloud and on your devices. The app has no developer accounts and no developer servers; we never receive or see your data.

What we collect

Nothing about you personally. There are no accounts to create, no email to enter, and we operate no server that could receive your data. The app uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. (iCloud sync simply uses the Apple Account already signed in on your device — there is no separate sign-in.)

Your data, on your devices and in your iCloud

Everything you put into Tabwise: Bills & Invoices is stored on your device (using Apple's SwiftData) and synced across your own devices through your private iCloud (Apple's CloudKit), so the same records appear on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac:

This data lives in your iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and is visible only to you. We have no server and no way to access it. Deleting the app removes it from that device; removing the app's data from your iCloud (via iCloud settings) removes the synced copy. There is no copy or backup held by us.

Network use

Tabwise: Bills & Invoices connects to Apple's iCloud, and only for one purpose: to sync your own records across your own devices. It contacts no other servers and sends nothing to us or to any third party. It also works offline — your changes sync the next time you're online. Separately, if you save a payment URL with a record and tap it, your device opens that link in your browser — that is a normal web request made by your browser, not by this app, and only happens when you choose to tap it.

Notifications

Due-date reminders are optional. If you turn them on, the app asks your permission and then schedules local notifications on your device for unpaid records that have a due date. These reminders are created and delivered entirely on your device; no due dates or record details are sent anywhere.

Photos and files

When you attach a receipt or invoice, you pick it through the system Photos picker or the system document picker. The app only receives the specific items you choose; it is not granted access to your full photo library or file system. Imported attachments are stored locally with the record.

Face ID / Touch ID

You can optionally turn on an app lock. It uses Apple's LocalAuthentication only to confirm it's you before showing your records. The app does not access, receive, or store any biometric data — that stays within the system.

Not financial advice

Tabwise: Bills & Invoices provides general record-keeping only. It is not professional financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. It is a tool for organizing your own records — it does not connect to any bank or account and never moves, sends, or requests money.

Children

Tabwise: Bills & Invoices is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. (It collects nothing from anyone.)

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date below. Because the app collects nothing and talks only to your own iCloud, changes are expected to be rare.
