Job Trail is a simple tracker for your own job applications. It is built to collect nothing about you — no account, no tracking, no ads, no analytics, and no network connection at all.
Nothing about you personally. There are no accounts to create, no email to enter, and we operate no server that could receive your data. The app uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Everything you add to Job Trail is stored locally on your iPhone (using Apple's on-device SwiftData) and never leaves it:
Deleting the app removes all of it. There is no cloud copy and no backup held by us.
Job Trail makes no network requests. It works entirely offline. The one exception is at your own initiative: if you tap a job's saved link, your iPhone opens that web address in your default browser. At that point your browser — not Job Trail — handles the request, under its own privacy policy. The app sends nothing on its own.
The app requests no special permissions — no notifications, location, contacts, camera, or photos.
Job Trail is a general-audience productivity app and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. (It collects nothing from anyone.)
If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and note what changed.
