Budget Coach helps you understand your own monthly budget. It is built to collect nothing about you — no account, no tracking, no ads, no analytics, and no network connection at all.
Nothing about you personally. There are no accounts to create, no email to enter, and we operate no server that could receive your data. The app uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Everything you put into Budget Coach is stored locally on your iPhone and never leaves it:
Deleting the app removes all of it. There is no cloud copy and no backup held by us.
When you tap "Coach me," your budgeting tips are generated entirely on your iPhone using Apple's built-in Foundation Models framework (the on-device technology behind Apple Intelligence). Your numbers are used only to create that text on the device and are not sent to Apple, to us, or to any server. On devices where Apple Intelligence isn't available, the app produces simple rule-based tips computed locally instead.
Budget Coach makes no network requests and works entirely offline. The app sends nothing on its own.
Budget Coach provides general, educational budgeting information only. It is not professional financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. It is a tool for organizing your own numbers — it does not connect to any bank or account and never moves money.
The app requests no special permissions — no notifications, location, contacts, camera, or photos.
Budget Coach is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. (It collects nothing from anyone.)
